Day 1: ARRIVAL TO LJUBLJANA AIRPORT
Arrival at Ljubljana airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: River SOČA & LEPENICA & KAL-KORITNICA
Breakfast and meeting fishing guides.
A short chat and a presentation of the fishing area and the rules. Transport to the upper part of the Soča River and its tributaries for an active fly fishing day. Fly fishing on the river Soča or Lepenica. Along the way you will be able to see the beautifully colorful landscape, which was completely characterized by the Soča River. The route will take us past its tributaries Gljun, Koritnica and Boka, where you can photograph the waterfall. The trail will also take us past many cemeteries from 1st WW that you can of course take a closer look at. During the fly fishing, we will take a lunch break at a restaurant serving traditional local food and drink. In the afternoon, transfer to Kobarid.

Day 3: River SOČA & LEPENICA & KAL-KORITNICA
Breakfast.
A short chat and a presentation of the fishing area and the rules. Transport to the upper part of the Soča River and its tributaries for an active fly fishing day. Fly fishing on the river Soča or Lepenica. During the fly fishing, we will take a lunch break at a restaurant serving traditional local food and drink. In the afternoon, transfer to Kobarid.

Day 4: River IDRIJCA
Breakfast.
A brief chat and introduction to the fishing area and the rules. Transport to the Idrijca River for an active fly fishing day with guides. On the way to Idrija you will be able to observe the diversity of the narrow and deep valley along which the Idrijca River flows. While fishing, we will take a lunch break at a restaurant where you can taste the traditional Idrija dish – Žlikrofi*
*potatoe žlikrofi Idrijan style (the potatoe filling is flavoured with cracklings, chives, onions and marjoram).
In the afternoon, transfer to Kobarid.

Day 5: KOBARID – BLED – BOHINJ
Breakfast and meeting guide/driver and transfer to Bled to spend an active day.
On a guided tour you will visit:
⟶ the castle of Bled build on a rock above the lake, which offers you the best panoramic views of the lake, the island of Bled and the Alps.
⟶ Optionally you can visit the island of Bled by boat called “pletna”, and enter the baroque church of Saint Mary.
In the afternoon you will visit lake Bohinj, which is the biggest lake in Slovenia, located in the heart of Triglav Nacional Park, where you can see the reflection of the peaks of the Julian Alps. Along the way observe the alpine villages which will remind you of a fairy tale. Walk around the lake and if time and weather allows, you can go for a swim. We also recommend to do a short climb up to the Savica waterfall. On your way back you can optionally visit the Vintgar Gorge and its intact environment.
In the afternoon, transfer to Bled.

Day 6: River KRKA

A quick brief/chat and introduction to the fishing area and the rules.
Transport to the location for an active fly fishing day with guides. On the way to the Krka River we will pass by the capital Ljubljana. You will be able to observe the characteristics of the Ljubljana Marshes and the surroundings of the capital. While fishing, we will take a lunch break at a restaurant serving traditional food and drink. Depending on our time and preferences, a downtown stop is possible to stroll through the old part of the town, take a souvenir photo, try some homemade ice cream or beer from local breweries. Or just enjoy one of the many bars on the banks of the Ljubljanica River.
In the afternoon, transfer to Bled.

Day 7: River SAVINJA
Breakfast.
A quick brief/chat and introduction to the fishing area and the rules. Transport to the location for an active fly fishing day with guides. On the way to the Savinja River we will pass by hops plantations. The possibility of a shorter stop at the Beer Fountain, where you can try a few different types of beer. Let me mention that Slovenian hops are appreciated by brewers from all over Europe and therefore also called green gold. While fishing, we will take a lunch break at a restaurant serving traditional food and drink.

Day 8: SLOVENIAN COAST – BLED
Breakfast.
Transfer from Bled, you will visit the Slovenian coast. Firstly you will visit the city of Koper, the most important city of the coast. Strolling through the streets of the city you will see Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque constructions. Most of Koper’s most interesting tourist spots are concentrated around the City Tower, which is 36 m high and is visible from the distance. Among the most interesting points you will see the cathedral, the Loggia Palace and the Praetor Palace. You will continue your journey to Piran which is a city of special value. It is the best-preserved urban cultural monument in Slovenian Istria. You have to get close to see and experience the architecture of the city, with the strong influence especially of the Republic of Venice, which has also characterized other cities of Istria.
